It’s Sunday morning. Our team is warming up on the sideline. Broadcasters are highlighting our players. And I’m sitting down, on the couch, in my living room. This felt weird. For the first time in my life I felt like a spectator, a fan watching from afar. But oddly enough, as the game went on, I felt like I was right there with them, screaming at the TV, knowing that they could hear me. I finally felt what it’s like to be a fan—a true fan—and it’s AWESOME. Now I see why people’s days, lives, and emotions revolve around their team.
Your team makes you feel a part of something bigger. Your team invites you in and welcomes you along for the ride. Your team doesn’t care whether you’re on the field or on your couch. They are still YOUR TEAM, and they are with you till the end. MY TEAM came out victorious today, and my day was made.
How’d your team do?
